Custom Low Frequency
As a Full Member of the Wireless Power Consortium, NuCurrent has advanced the Qi standard with its 15W MP-A17 design specification. This innovation triples the separation distance between transmitter and receiver up to 12mm, and has implemented Qi-certified charging into a breadth of product categories.
In addition to Qi, NuCurrent specializes in custom low frequency wireless charging systems for clients looking to push beyond Qi or develop their own product ecosystem.
What is Qi Wireless Charging?
Qi Wireless Charging is the most popular wireless charging method and is best known for its wireless phone charging application. Qi Wireless Chargers use a resonant inductive coupling between the sender (the charging station) and the receiver (the device) to charge or power devices. Wireless charging removes ports and contact pins, resulting in a portable, interoperable, reliable, and fully-sealed product powered individually or with a multi-bay system.
