Electrical Engineering Intern for Wireless Power Solutions

Experience: Minimum: 3+ years undergrad study plus lab experience towards B.S. in Electrical Engineering; Preferred: BSEE & progress towards MSEE or PhDEE

Supervisor’s Title: VP Engineering


    • Perform modeling, testing and other hands on work to develop and qualify NuCurrent’s products, support the sales process and improve efficiency of the engineering process. You will focus on fundamental research supporting wireless power antenna and circuit testing that leverages NuCurrent’s proprietary antennas and state of the art equipment and tools.


  • Learn and understand NuCurrent’s technology
  • Work with full time engineers to assist in testing and research projects
  • Learn from full time engineers and through personal initiative
  • Assist in design, implementation and troubleshooting of circuits
  • Assist in extensive hands on testing with prototypes and production boards
  • Assemble, solder and organize components for testing and sampling to clients

  • Essential
    • Min: 3+ years of coursework towards BSEE; Preferred: BSEE pursuing MSEE or PhDEE
    • Lab experience and competence in soldering and utilizing test equipment
    • Ability to multitask on multiple projects
    • Experience with numerical computing software (e.g. Matlab)
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Passion for innovation

    • Experience in wireless power applications

    • Experience in developing products
    • Experience with electronic circuit design using common software tools (e.g. Altium)
    • Experience in hardware design and development in antenna/RF
    • Experience in troubleshooting circuit boards using lab equipment (e.g. signal generators, oscilloscopes, analyzers)
    • Good understanding of electromagnetics (especially the behavior of magnetic fields in the range of 100 KHz 100 MHz)
