Technical Project Manager for Wireless Power Solutions

Experience: BS Electrical Engineering (or other Engineering degree), with 1-5 years relevant experience.

Role Description: NuCurrent is looking for a Technical Project Manager with an electrical engineering focus who is motivated to work closely with a talented and diverse engineering group to drive the project management and organization of electrical hardware design, software design, mechanical design, and test to deliver end customer products on time. The candidate will drive the planning and execution of the product lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements; defining the product vision with the customer; and working closely with engineering teams, sales, business development, and marketing to ensure successful program delivery (on-time and budget) with a high degree of customer satisfaction.   • Lead Engineering efforts from a project planning and execution standpoint, by managing schedules and tasks for all NuCurrent engineering projects, while interfacing with both internal and external stakeholders


  • Work closely with sales team to provide technical project support during the pre-sales phase, reviewing customer proposals and requirements to help plan out projects
  • Engage new and existing customers via direct customer contact throughout a project lifecycle to manage their needs and expectations
  • Devise timelines and work with internal team, partners and vendors to ensure smooth progress of project, and adherence to timelines
  • Develop program management materials, track and communicate milestones, and manage program-level escalations internally and with the customer
  • Organize and participate in engineering design reviews and project sync-ups to coordinate progress of projects
  • Serve as a customer point-of-contact for management of schedule, cost, and quality of technical deliverables
  • Manage and maintain tracking for NuCurrent deliverables, backlog, and associated metrics
  • Brief the company management on a regular basis on project status and progress
  • Generate customer specific presentations to clearly illustrate project status and results

  • Experience with discrete or analog/digital/mixed-signal electronics from a technical or project management standpoint
  • Experience with electronics systems manufacturing processes
  • Experience with wireless technologies, such as wireless power, NFC, Bluetooth
  • Experience with project planning tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheets, Excel, Google Suite
