Technical Sales Engineer for Wireless Power Solutions

Experience: +5 Years’ experience in a Technical Sales / Business Development / Channel Management role in the electronics technology field. Experienced working with a broad customer base, partners, and internal technical teams to expand company growth (Start-up experience preferred). Ability to effectively drive opportunities from prospecting and qualification through consultative sales to technical proposal / contract development and closure. Experience managing partners / channels and influencing collaborative efforts of resources within diverse organizations. Proven ability to achieve business objectives, manage through change, resolve conflicts, ensure collaboration within teams and use solid business judgment to keep aligned with Company strategy; includes maintaining the highest standards of ethical conduct, integrity, and appropriate levels of urgency. Comfortable working in a global company with cultural diversity and fast pace growth. BS Eng / Bus or equivalent. Willing to travel as required (10-30% expected).

Overview: We are looking for an experienced sales professional who is self-motivated, analytical, and detail and action-oriented to help accelerate our growing wireless power business. Working through established partnerships and directly with customers, the selected candidate will help us accelerate our existing business by identifying, qualifying and closing new customer projects. Works closely with engineering and operations teams to create proposals, contracts, and uses company tools to manage and report activities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate NuCurrent sales and marketing activities as assigned
  • Support and track lead generation activities
  • Direct prioritization of multiple fast-paced sales opportunities and programs simultaneously to accelerate business, satisfy customers and maximize team efficiency
  • Leads sales side communication on Customer or Internal program calls – ensures expected business outcomes and works with HQ Engineering to achieve program success
  • Work closely with partner sales and marketing teams to prioritize and schedule visits from the NuCurrent Sales, Engineering, and Executive teams, maximizing their time to assist in driving Regional business objectives
  • Provide Sales support to customers from pre-sales to Design Win and Mass Production phases. Drives revenue attainment through direct customer interface, development and translation of customer proposals, contracts and purchase orders
  • Develop customer-specific sales and marketing materials, track and communicate business progress, manage sales progress and business side programmatic level escalations internally and with the customer
  • Act as customer advocate post-sales during the design phase, understanding the business relationship, expectations, and enough scope of the customers’ requirements to help guide the relevant HQ teams
  • Log customer and program data using company CRM, forecasting and reporting tools

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (engineering, business, technology management), MBA or MS Engineering is a plus, or equivalent combination of education/training and experience
  • 5+ years related industry and work experience in Technical Sales / Marketing in the electronics industry
  • Functional familiarity with electronic product manufacturing, test, equipment and design process
  • Experience with one or more market segments including consumer electronics, mobile, wearables, medical, industrial or automotive
  • Proven partner relationship experience
  • Ability to travel as required
