Historically, product developers wanting to implement wireless power as a feature have had to settle with plastic or carbon fiber housings. When Klipsch wanted to push the limits of design and user experience further by implementing active noise cancellation (ANC) to their T5 II Wireless Earphone line and wirelessly charge in a luxe and durable metallic case, they again tapped NuCurrent.
Solution
Using the NuEva Low Frequency (LF) Development Platform, NuCurrent delivered an industry-first: a metallic charging case that holds over 21 hours of power and charges the earphones over 2x faster than the competition. The Klipsch T5 II True Wireless ANC McLaren edition earphones ship with the Klipsch 2x Charging Mat, which features one charging zone optimized for the Klipsch ANC earphone case with charging speeds up to 5W, and another charging zone designed for any Qi-compatible phone.
